The bags we choose to carry make a statement about how we feel or what we think is funny, beautiful, silly or serious. We take them to the beach, the grocery store, to work and to play. I have created a wide variety of tote bags, messenger bags and wristlets for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous bags available from the rest of the Zazzle community and want to share this creativity here! I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

This Messenger Bag features a lovely, lacy white flower named the wild carrot. It was introduced and naturalized in North America, where it is often known as Queen Anne's Lace. It is so called because the flower resembles lace; the red flower in the center represents a blood droplet where Queen Anne pricked herself with a needle when she was making the lace. The single flower head with it's hundreds of tiny blossoms, is set against a background of green, yellow and black.

A new use for old money. Japanese invasion money, officially known as Southern Development Bank Notes, was currency issued by the Japanese Military Authority, as a replacement for local currency after the conquest of colonies and other states in World War II.

The design is from the original collage of hand-torn newspapers made by Keiko Suzuki. Because of the collage making technique the design blends in the natural look of the organic bag. This is one of Japanese-ish design, a white eye on a plum tree. This green sparrow sized bird is one of my favorite birds.

Show your love for unique and unusual plants. This stylish grocery bag features a beautiful botanical illustration of the carnivorous plant Darlingtonia californica. The text on the bag reads “Cobra Plant” “Darlingtonia californica”. Fully customizable, you can change or delete the text, or change the bag color and/or style, if you’d like. Makes a great gift for a gardener, botanist, landscaper or anyone who loves plants and nature.
Also called the California Pitcher Plant, Cobra Plant, or Cobra Lily, Darlingtonia californica is native to southwestern Oregon and northern California. Its native habitat is bogs and seeps with cold running water. The common name Cobra Plant comes from how its tubular leaves resemble a rearing cobra.
The botanical art is our unique color version based on the one in Die natürlichen Pflanzenfamilien, published 1887 – 1911. Adapted here in color, the original is in black and white.
