The bags we choose to carry make a statement about how we feel or what we think is funny, beautiful, silly or serious. We take them to the beach, the grocery store, to work and to play. I have created a wide variety of tote bags, messenger bags and wristlets for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous bags available from the rest of the Zazzle community and want to share this creativity here! I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

This Messenger Bag features a lovely, lacy white flower named the wild carrot. It was introduced and naturalized in North America, where it is often known as Queen Anne's Lace. It is so called because the flower resembles lace; the red flower in the center represents a blood droplet where Queen Anne pricked herself with a needle when she was making the lace. The single flower head with it's hundreds of tiny blossoms, is set against a background of green, yellow and black.

From the designer: "This design features my original painting of a Red-winged Blackbird perching in reeds. The flash of red and yellow on the male Red-winged Blackbird is such a pretty contrast amidst the otherwise earthy colors of a reedy wetland. I love painting vividly colored birds, and this guy definitely fits the bill. He makes for a beautiful wristlet, suitable for any occasion."
