The bags we choose to carry make a statement about how we feel or what we think is funny, beautiful, silly or serious. We take them to the beach, the grocery store, to work and to play. I have created a wide variety of tote bags, messenger bags and wristlets for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous bags available from the rest of the Zazzle community and want to share this creativity here! I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

A simple pattern of brown and black horizontal stripes on a tan background creates an elegant, sophisticated tote bag by Bebops.

Here's something different from LabKitty. This tote bag has the ancient Egyptian word for "brain" as it appears in the Edward Smith Surgical Papyrus, translated in 1930 by James Breasted and dated to the seventeenth century B.C. The papyrus documents the symptoms and prognosis of two patients with compound fractures of the skull. Given that the state-of-the-art in Egyptian brain surgery at the time consisted of pulling it out through your nose with a metal hook after you were dead, we're guessing the story did not end well.

There is still plenty of time for the beach and pool. Carry magazines/books to read and other essentials in this coral reef inspired tote with a digital art design of coral and red sea star shapes swimming in tropical blue waves by MajoniColors.
